A Police investigation is being conducted into the disturbing circumstances surrounding the discovery of what appeared to be the mutilated body of a Dartmoor foal on Tuesday 23rd July in the Yennadon Down area, Dousland near Yelverton, Devon. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area during the night of 22nd and 23rd who saw anything suspicious to contact the Devon and Cornwall Police quoting Crime reference JT/13/955. Additionally, if anyone has any information that may assist in this investigation they are encouraged to call the non-emergency number, 101 or call anonymously on the Crimestoppers number 0800 555111.
