Detectives want to track the owner of the dog, believed to be a black Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Forest keepers were called to Jubilee Park pond at 9am on August 4 and found the swan motionless. It’s since been found that the protected animal was attacked by a dog off the lead moments beforehand. The dog owner had already left by the time forest keepers arrived.
The Metropolitan Police Wildlife Crime Unit would like to speak to the owner of the dog involved in this incident. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 07741617546 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
