Little is known about the reproduction of the Philippine pangolin, though it is believed to have single offspring born after a gestation period of 3 – 4 months.
It is understood that females reach maturity in their first year.
The Philippine pangolin is endemic to the Philippines, inhabiting four islands including Palawan and Culion.
