“A gang of children as young as 10 killed over 50 pet doves after breaking into their dovecot and shooting them with an air rifle.

The violent gang left an ‘horrific’ bloodbath, which was discovered by the distressed owners.  Their sickening spree resulted in 50 doves dying at the farm in Bookham, near Leatherhead, Surrey.

A further four were put to sleep after being taken to the nearby Wildlife Aid Foundation.  Medics are now treating four adult doves and five chicks for injuries they sustained in the attack. It is believed they will make a full recovery.”
