Four in court in Chesterfield on badger baiting charges


“Four people from the Rotherham area are due to appear at court tomorrow on badger-baiting charges.

Antonio Miguel Alonso-Brown (22), Connor Alan Podmore (19), Liam Darren Swift (22) and Nathan Swift (20), will appear before North East Derbyshire and Dales Magistrates’ Court, in Chesterfield.

They have been summonsed for offences related to allegations of hunting and unlawfully killing a badger and interfering with a badger sett.”
