“POLICE in Derbyshire are among the best in the country at dealing with wildlife crime, according to a leading charity.
World Animal Protection says that some police forces, of which Derbyshire is one, are acting as beacons for best practice while others are taking an ‘inconsistent approach’ to tackling the issue. The charity is calling for a Government-led national wildlife crime strategy to provide a framework to guide localised policing.”
